All work, no play makes Wicked Witch a boring girl. It’s proven, cos Prince is yawning more often than before whenever he’s with me. LOL.
Been really busy recently with work and I feel like whatever energy I’m left with has been used up. I’m expecting more work to pile up cos I’ve decided to start my assignments next weekend. I’m not sure how much more stress I can cope with. Already gone pagal (crazy in tamil) after 2 weeks of intensive ‘new job scope’ training, extra workload and extra responsibilities. Getting 10% more of the pay means getting 100% more workload and shit. Hah.. exaggerated. *roll eyes* But it really feels like that when I just took over the new task! Then again, challenges excite me most of the time. I think I’ll love it in time to come. *makes monkey faces*
Fortunately, I have a few upcoming activities/events to look forward to. When you’re totally tired out, anything that has nothing to do with work/school stuff, can be a source of motivation.
April – Camping with Prince’s Friend. Last week’s camping session at ECP with Prince was tremendously fun. Thanks to the disposable BBQ kits, the funny food combination, the starry night sky, THE bingo game and, of course, the hyper rat that ran around and UNDER our tent. I’ve been bugging Prince for another session. So he promised that it’ll be in April, with his camp mate and gf. This time, I’ll make sure we have everything that we need and NO rats running under my tent.
May – 4 Days, 3 Nights Bangkok Trip with Prince. Have already boasted to my colleagues that I managed to get return tix to Bangkok for only $105! Prince and I have been wanting this short get-a-way trip since last year. Woohoo! I can already feel my arms and legs aching cos of all the shopping. =D
June – Shirley’s Wedding. I have been complaining that Shir’s fussy and slow in telling us her final decision on how she wants us to dress on her wedding day. However, in the midst of her wishy-washy-ness, I’ve already been browsing through magazines to look for THE ultimate dress. Call us (Erika + Sab) vainpots. We don’t care! It’s a girlie thing to do la.. Haha. From now till then, I’m on vigourous dieting plans. Haha.
Now looking at some fun lined up ahead.. I’m actually no longer boring (Prince, yes/no?). I’m starting to feel re-juvinated again! *Rubs hands gleefully*
