What’s with Singapore’s education system nowadays? Why are primary school kids learning so much now? Being a tuition teacher is tough. Sadly, I’m one and I’m don’t know how long before I go crazy.

I begin to rely heavily on the answer sheets to mark my students’ work because I am just not sure of the answers myself. I should admit right from the start that I hated compositions in school last time and therefore I can’t teach them now. I can’t ans some of their science question because what I can remember of pri school science was just angsana and flame of the forest.

With a half-bucket-full teacher, I hope they don’t fail their papers at the end of this year. I promise that I’ll quit so that they’ll get a better, more qualified teacher to help them next year.
